Elegant Burgundy Ornament Card

I am really pleased how a simple image from Cricut’s Christmas Village can look so elegant just by the paper and embellishments you use. I cut the ornament image at 5 inches using My Mind’s Eye’s O Christmas Tree Paper Stack and then I cut it again (hiding the contour lines so a solid shape would cut) in goldish-brown cardstock from the Paper Studio. The glittered background mat is also from the O Christmas Tree Paper Stack. I used burgundy ribbon form the Paper Studio for embellishment prior to pop-dotting the ornament on top. I then finished the ornament using burgundy adhesive gems. The inside of the card is matted using the same paper as the ornament to coordinate with the front of the card. The “Merry Christmas” and manger stamps are from Stampabilities (bought at Hobby Lobby).

Thanks for checking out the card!

    • Thank you so much Sophia! The camera doesn’t show all of the glittery details but the paper is actually glittered cardstock and looks really nice when you can see all the shimmer on it. I really like the look of the burgundy bow against the ornament. Thanks for your lovely comment! Merry Christmas! ~Vanessa
